Our Thoughts About Software Design And Development

Things to Follow for a Perfectly Optimized Page

Strategies use to optimize individual web pages to rank higher and earn more traffic in the search engines.
  • Page Title: Start title with keyword. Each page and post must have its own unique title which includes the main keywords for that page.
  • Meta Descriptions: Important place to include relevant keywords for your content, as these are used within the search results when your page is listed.
  • Meta Tags: In each page, a set of keywords can be included in the form of Meta tags. These should be all the relevant keywords of your content.
  • URL Structure: Use SEO friendly URLs. Include the target keyword in the URL. First 3-5 words in a URL are given more weight.
  • Heading tags (h1, h2, h3): Never have more than one h1 tag on any page. Include multiple h2’s or h3’s as users scroll down the page. These are used as subheadings. Target keyword must be included in at least once subheading in an H2 tag.
  • Title tag (<title></title>): Include keyword in the beginning of the title tag.
  • Use multimedia in blog post: Include at least 1 multimedia type (video, audio, images and lists) in every blog post that you publish.
  • Include keyword in the beginning of the post: Keep keyword density to roughly 2-5%. Excessive repeat and overuse of keywords just for search engine can lead to the site being banned from search engines. Keyword should appear in the first 100-150 words of the article.
  • Use LSI keywords: LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords are words that are commonly found alongside your target keyword. For example, if you were writing about “weight loss tips”, then you’d probably mention words like “nutrition”, “dieting”, “fat loss” etc. When Google sees those words around your target keyword, it gives them confidence that you’re writing quality stuff. It’s easy to find LSI keywords for any keyword. Just search for that keyword in Google and scroll to the bottom of the page where it says “searches related to…”
  • Image SEO: At least one image file name includes the target keyword. Including relevant keywords can help people find your site when searching on Google Images. Alt Text and Descriptions for your images are included.
  • Internal linking: Use 2-3 in every post. Makes easier for visitors to navigate around the site and find all of the content. Ensures that the site gets properly crawled allowing the search engines to find all of the pages. It also helps to build the relevancy of a page to relevant keywords and phrases, which helps to increase the Google Page Rank of the pages.
  • Mobile responsive: Google started penalizing mobile unfriendly sites in 2015. If you want to make your site mobile-friendly, Responsive Design is a must.
  • Use social sharing buttons: Generate more viewers to your content.
  • Post long content: Longer content tends to rank significantly higher on Google’s first page.
  • Increases site speed: Page loading speed is an SEO ranking signal. Make sure your site doesn’t take more than 4 seconds to load. Site speed can be boost up by compressing images and switching to faster hosting. Site’s loading speed can be tested in
  • Increase dwell time: If someone hits back the back button immediately after landing on a page, it tells google that it is a low quality page. That’s why Google uses “dwell time” to size up your content’s quality. Increase your average dwell time by writing long and engaging content that keeps viewers reading
  • Slash bounce rate: If Google sees people bouncing from your page in the search results, it’s a clear sign that you’re not a quality result for their users. And they’ll quickly drop you from the first page. Including internal links to the top of your content is one of the fastest ways to decrease your bounce rate.
